Christian Martine Signs 'Safe and Fair Elections Pledge'

October 13, 2022 – Beaver, WV – On Wednesday evening, Christian Martine announced that he was signing the Safe and Fair Elections Pledge, a non-partisan pledge that reaffirms Martine's commitment to a safe, fair, and transparent election.

Speaking outside the headquarters of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in Glen Jean, Martine said that defending our democracy is the most important issue in any campaign.

"More important than any policy issue is the fact that our elections remain safe fair free and transparent, Martine said."

Martine reaffirmed his unequivocal commitment to trusting the institutions that administer our elections and impartially count our votes.

"Regardless of how the results are on Election night, I will not do anything to try to degrade or hurt the trust in the institution that we call democracy," Martine said. "That's more important than any policy – any party."

Martine encourages everyone to vote on November 8th, or in early voting from October 26th to November 5th. To register to vote by October 18th or to check your voter registration, visit GoVoteWV.com.
